Terms of Service
Payment Method
We always require payment in advance of your first class. Attendance is strictly limited to people who have booked at www.bethbroadway.com and completed the Medical Questionnaire.
Amending Class Times
We will always endeavour to provide you with a minimum of 7 days’ notice if a class time needs to be altered. Where the start time is altered by less than 30 minutes no refunds will be offered.
Refunds and Cancellations
If we cancel a class then we will offer you an alternative date or a full refund (other than in the case of a ‘force majeure’). We are under no obligation to refund you if you are unable to attend all or part of the course, nor are we obligated to provide an alternative class for missed lessons.
If you stop attending classes on the advice of your pregnancy health care provider (for medical reasons) you will be offered a refund for the missed classes - providing documentation confirming the request can be provide by the class attendee.
We are under no obligation to offer refunds if classes can not take place due to a case of ‘force majeure’ (which may include, but not be limited to: Government advice or regulations, extreme weather, risk of disease or infection).
Observers
We do not generally allow observers in classes, including family members, partners or friends. We may have internal observers who are in the class for training purposes, including teachers, midwives or trainee midwives.
Personal Property and Vehicles
All property taken in to the class is left at your own risk. We do not accept responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal possessions before, during or after class. Similarly, vehicles parked at the venue are left at the owner’s own risk.
Withdrawal of service
We reserve the right to refuse entry to a client onto our courses at our own discretion.
Health and Safety
Please do not enter the class venue until invited to do so. The class environment should be calm and quiet. Please treat other attendees with respect. Store personal belongings neatly away from walkways so as to avoid trip hazards. Please ensure your mobile phone is is on silent.
If any of your previously submitted contact details are changed please let us know as soon as possible.
Checking for Cancelled Sessions
Please ensure you always check your phone, emails and WhatsApp groups prior to leaving for class, in case there has been a last minute alteration due to unforeseen circumstances.
Weather
If we have deemed that the weather not too severe to prevent travel, but you have taken the decision to not attend, then no refund will be given.
Exclusion of Liability
In the absence of any proven negligence, lack of due diligence or breach of duty by the instructor, your participation is done so entirely at your own risk.
Medical Conditions
It is vital that you inform your teacher of any medical conditions that you or your baby have which might affect your time in class. All information is treated sensitively and in confidence.
For example, a Mother may have pre-existing conditions or conditions which arise during pregnancy, such as: high blood pressure, low blood pressure, bleeding, spotting, history of miscarriage, placenta praevia, back or hip issues.
Recommended Starting Date
We recommend you wait until week 14 of your pregnancy before starting classes. If you choose to begin sessions sooner, this is a decision taken at your own risk.
